Maynard says that this is about what he heard at a speech. He said this is about when people feel high and mighty because they beat their addiction. He is trying to let them know that even though they beat the addiction, they still can't forget all of the hardships they put themselves and others through.

This is dedicated to all those we have lost, and all those who have lost, due to war. This is my interpretation of The Noose by A Perfect Circle. I know its about addiction but I always got a different feeling from it and think allot of other people did as well. This is edited with Fahrenheit 911 and Zeitgeist. I am quite certain that Micheal Moore and Peter Joseph would love this, and please, if you know either of them, please show them for me. Not so sure how much A Perfect Circle would like this all though I think Maynard wouldn't mind.
