Sad news for Bruno Mars fans occurred over the weekend when the singers' mom suddenly passed away at the age of 55. Hello everyone you're tuned into ClevverMusic here on YouTube. Bruno Mars' Mother Bernadette Hernandez was abruptly pronounced dead on Saturday, June 1st, after experiencing a fatal brain aneurysm. Bernadette resided in Hawaii, where she was a former hula dancer and singer like her son Bruno who was born as Peter Gene Hernandez in Hawaii 27 years ago. Bruno is one of six children and was known for performing for his family as an Elvis impersonator, and his mother was known for standing behind his musical talent and encouraging him to pursue his dreams in the industry. Earlier this year Bruno revealed to Gulf News, "I always wanted to buy my mom a house, and that was the first thing I did with my first big check," proving just how close he was with his Mother.
