Arioma were born in 2018, in Trentino Alto Adige, Italy , from the ashes of Dark Moon .
Dark Moon were founded in 2014 , they play heavy metal from the basement . after some line-up changes, the band stabilizes as a three-piece .
the drummer comes from Evil Fate, good heavymetal band authors of one cd, "Black Project", in 2013 .
in december 2016 is out the Dark Moon debut and only release, the EP mcd "Sguazzon" .
here the band, technically, it is really "underground" . the "Sguazzon" ep 2016 contains 5 tracks of rudimental prog heavy metal (one of them singed in italian, and out as single and official videoclip, "Sentieri") . the band plays lots of live shows, adding one more member into the line-up...
in december 2018 , they became again the initial three-piece, and, after they improved really very much with the instruments, they changed the band name into Arioma . this is a new and great beginning for the band, that now plays excellent the instruments, and with excellent inspiration in the process of composition. soon new much more professional tracks were ready, and finally, their debut album was ready :
"Follia" it was released in february 2019 . it contains 8 tracks, recorded excellently, with a great sound, all in italian language, and the tracks are really excellent compositions : a mix of progressive metal , power metal, powerthrash and classical heavymetal, with italian progressive rock and folk influences that reflect their dialectical folk mood .
but the time for Arioma is short . as Arioma, the band was active for only one year. in fact, from the start of the new project in december 2018, in march 2020 the band announces their definitive end, due to different points of view of musical directions between the 3 members , playing together since the 1st incarnation as Dark Moon in 2014 .
what a pity ,... well, what's left is this excellent album, "Follia" , 2019 .
